Create any character you want in this exciting new campaign. To help with any choice paralysis use the questions below to choose what your origin story should be. Then use the side bar navigation to create that character!
Which Origin Story should I choose?
If you want the standard “no-meta” D&D experience go with the In World Character option. These are the least restricted as far as Race and Class are concerned but also the most true to the standard D&D formula.
If you enjoy a more meta experience play an MMO Alpha or a Isekai’d character. These characters allow you to bring knowledge from the “real world” and use it in-game to some extent.
What is the TLDR difference between the stories?
In World Characters were born into the world and are native to it.
MMO Alphas are “real people” who are playing a video game character in an MMO. They must stay in character per their contracts or risk serious consequences.
Isekai’d characters are “real people” who have entered the game world themselves. They are a cross between the other two options as well as something different from both.
I can’t choose which I like best!
They are all great options so don’t stress too much. There are ways to switch from the one you chose at the beginning if you don’t like it. This can happen once per game so if you really don’t like being Isekai’d and just want to play an In World Character we can make that happen without you having to redo your entire character.
