Days leading up to 17th Day of Planting, 347p.s. - 19th of Planting

Weeks leading up to the 17th

Barnaby & Klienenstern - As they are both members of the Mages Guild they met and a friendship was forged. They each had their respective jobs that they do to make coin but they also enjoy each others company. During one such encounter they went to enjoy the festivities of the Seed Sowing Festive on the 16th of Planting and had quite the adventure. Barnaby met a Satyr who sold him Boots of Elvenkind for the small price of one of his true names…. Klienenstern met with one Hell of a merchant who for 2 inconsequential favors sold him a Figurine of Wondrous Power. This Figurine took the form of what he desired most, an…. Armored Penguin….. They also met up with a Time Traveler who really confused Barnaby but with the help of Klien and his expert explanations, a disastrous brain explosion was averted. After completeing these two favors that were not technically illegal, they returned to the Mage’s Guild to prepare for their first group adventure on the 17th.

Danderbin - Making friends with the crew of the ship helped to make the trip fly by. Before he knew it he was in Port City and was ready to see what he could see. He located the Merchants Guild and was able to get lodging set up for him and his Steeder. He investigated the festival during the night of the 17th and met with Barnaby and Klien. After talking with them for awhile they made a deal to hire him as a guide for the small price of 1 gp per week. They parted ways and Danderbin was able to cut a deal with the same Satyr that Barnaby gave his name to. Danderbin was transported to the Feywilde and made a deal with the Fairie Courts to serve them and gained a Warlock Pact. This new found ability did come with a price however. He was permanently charmed by the Satyr, gave up a lock of his hair, and lost his skill with Glassblower’s tools. Hopefully this deal will be worth it. After that he made his way back to the Merchants Guild after retrieving his Steeder and slept peacefully. Upon awaking he made his way to the Mage’s Guild to meet up with his new friends.

Fimdeer - Fim was advised by the elders of her clan to travel to Port City and learn more about the world and how it works. She is extremely talented and the elders don’t want to see that talent smothered by the confines of Fey Port. She boarded a ship and made her way across the waters to the Isle of Thalos. When she arrived in Port City she was immediately directed to the Elven District which lay just outside the city walls on the East side. She was able to find lodging in the Green Field Inn, and was informed of the festival taking place and where the Mage’s Guild was if she was looking to make a couple coins. She investigated the Guild and was told to return in the morning of the 17th to join the other newbies in their first Portal trip. She returned to the Elven district after taking in the sites of the city and awaited the morning.

Thorun - Thorun had been working in the Fighter’s Guild as a blacksmith preparing his tools and items for the coming trials he would face. He learned to use his new smithing tools well and even learned some new crafting techniques by lending out his new tools to 2 other blacksmiths. While out on the town he met with Nemera a Tiefling from the Mage’s Guild. She told him about the portal’s affinity to Earth and Fire as of late and inspected his sword offering him advice on how to continue to forge it. He continued to work on his blade until late that evening and woke up early the next day to set off towards the Portal.

Group - Mike, Micah, Braydon, Lydia, Vergil: After being grouped together the 5 formed a pact to protect each other in the face of danger when they adventure together. Before setting for into the portal a man rode up on an exhausted horse looking for help from the Mage’s Guild. Unable to resist the offered payment of 200gp each the group offered to help. They set off towards Longsaddle and upon arriving were greeted by a statue who was actually Tristan Harpell. Tristan told the group the town of Silverleaf, which he had just purchased, hadn’t been heard from in weeks. He tasked them to figure out what happened with the help of C.A.R.T.E.R a sentient map. The map answered all their questions and guided them to the mysterious village of Silverleaf. Upon arriving they camped outside the village perimeter and scouted around finding nothing. In the morning the silver leaves gleamed in the orchard but no people were around. They entered into the orchard and were shrunk down to 1/60th thier height or 5ft to 1 inch. They battled their way to a picnic basket filled with the original inhabitants of the village. They warned the adventurers of the Raven that has been snatching them up as meals. Seeing some sparks flying from the table in the middle of the orchard they set out to investigate. During the trek they dealt with savage rain, avoided an angry rabbit, and crossed over a stream on a branch filled with spiders. Once they reached the table they found Tristans sometimes girlfriend, always rival, Freya. She admitted it was her spell that went wrong and shrunk everyone and that the only way to fix it was to climb the tree and break the Crystal Ball focus the Raven stole from her. Using potions and skill they climbed the tree battling wasps mid way up. Using her sharpshooting skills, Fim, was able to destroy the orb turning them back to normal size and sending them crashing to the ground in a pile. After dusting themselves off, Freya told them that House Doomstaff was in their debt and disappeared giving them tokens to turn in for a favor. They were paid their 200 gp each and sent back to Port City after 2 days for some much needed rest.

Alsaphat - After coming to this new city Alsaphat, heads to the temple to secure a place to stay while he is here. He meets with other clerics and is invited to the festival to see what it is about. After getting to the festive he receives some very helpful blessings that will serve him well in the adventures to come.

Arpeggio - After arriving in Port City, Arpeggio finds a lovely Inn and begins looking for work. Two jobs catch his eye and he takes the job flyers to the Fighter’s Guild. The first job is to be a guard a at the festival. While guarding he assists in stopping a pickpocket and discovers a strange Enchanter. This enchanter doesn’t use any obvious magic but in a strange twist of fate, Apreggio discovers his Standard is now indestructible.

Cherno - After meeting a glaive wielding fighter, Cherno finds his way to Port City and joins the Shadows Guild. His additional assignment and cover is to join the Temple’s Guild as well. He joins the Temple of Knowledge and earns his first coin doing a job for them. During the Festival he also finds his first mark for a Warlock Contract. The Great Dragon gains another follower…

He makes his way into the city heading to the Tinker’s Guild and joins.
